This looks very messy, and I can't see that there are downloads running. What's the icon? A pot with some stars in it or something?

Every once in a while I'm working on something somewhere where I quickly need to drag a selection with the mouse and copy it.
How can I quickly toggle off line numbers and gutter stuff so they don't mess up the copy/paste when doing it this way?
Edit: I am not asking about space+y / space+p, I am specifically asking how to toggle off the gutter quickly.

Now I wonder if this could be made a toggle instead of two different keybinds 🤔

In the client sometimes the computer fans will spin up to a 100% and I know it's just a matter of time before the desktop freezes completely and I have to hard reset the computer. This happens pretty often. I have had it happen across several distros, but they have all been running Gnome Wayland.
Is this a known thing? Is there a workaround/fix?

In Gnome if I press Super+1 it launches my browser. If it's already open, it switches to it. So no matter where I am or what I am doing, Super+1 will always take me to my browser.
Similarly, Super+2 is my terminal and Super+3 is Emacs.
Is there something similar in Cosmic that I can set up?
Edit: Super+b, Super+t, will open a new window every time so is not a good alternative
I'm going to try my hand at helos but the controls setup made me pause - do you set it so that 0% throttle is max collective and 100% throttle is idle? Or the other way around?
I see that in the cockpit of the AH64D when I move my throttle all the way forward the collective stick is lifted, so I'm wondering if it's more common to have it reversed, so that when I pull my throttle all the way back it's like the collective stick is pulled all the way up too.
What do you do?
Edit: thanks for chiming in, everbody. There doesn't seem to be a consensus, but at the time of editing 9 posts say to leave it as is, and 6 say to reverse or try it myself.
Netflix has English subtitles for season 1, 2, and 3, but not 4, or "The Game of Death", whatever type of season that is.
Does anyone know what's going on? I haven't had any luck finding it elsewhere either.
In DCS World, when looking around the cockpit I feel like it's really hard to keep my head completely still to click stuff. Like, I miss one in three switches/buttons because my head moves a bit as I go to click. Are there any tips for this? How have you all solved it? Just set the sensitivity way down? Is there maybe a pause-head-tracking button to bind? Keybinds that snap the view to certain quadrants of the cockpit while pausing head tracking? etc
Any tips appreciated!
