Drip tray grid specs

Does anyone have detailed specs on the drip tray grid? The part number is P2168.1.

Context: I'm trying to order a custom-made metal drip tray that has a carved out holder for my scale. I could clumsily measure it myself, but a spec would be more precise. Thanks.

Just received The Move this afternoon

Upgraded from a Bambino Plus. Overall I love this machine. Made a decaf latte in the evening and it tasted better than all the lattes I’ve ever made with the same beans. Steaming is so much easier than the Bambino.

One thing that bothers me a little is that the water tank keeps dripping water when I take it out for a refill. (Picture 3). Is this normal? I think they are not supposed to be dripping nonstop.

When it’s put in eco mode, the boilers stop, but the group head remains hot after hours. Maybe I didn’t set things up correctly.

The portafilter is a bit tight when put in the group head. I can’t turn it to a 90 degree position since it’s just already too tight.

I also notice some parts appear to be not new. There is some yellowish dust in the water tank. The blind basket looks heavily used already. And there are water marks on the water tank lid out of the box. The packaging looks intact with Profitec seal tapes. It’s quite strange that the parts could appear used already.

All that being said, I’m still very excited and happy with this machine. Will reach out to the customer service to check on the water tank.

Update: WLL immediately shipped a new water tank. Thumbs up for their service!

Discussion stats on recent Profitec models

Context: Recently I ordered a Profitec Move. While waiting for it to be shipped, I noticed people talking about its power button issues. To entertain myself while waiting, I asked an LLM to help pull some numbers on what kind of issues people are talking about.

Disclaimer: This report is based on publicly searchable owner discussions and search-result inventories, not manufacturer service records or a complete ownership population. Counts may underrepresent private repairs, unindexed posts, deleted threads, and duplicate owner reports, so the findings should be read as comparative public-signal evidence rather than true failure-rate statistics.

Takeaway: based on publicly available discussions, the MOVE has more reported front button failures than the other recent models, despite having fewer total discussion threads than models such as the GO and the DRIVE.

This may be not a very accurate data analysis, but it was fun and I hope you would also find it entertaining.
