This coming Saturday, June 27th, OHM takes over the beautiful Mt. Ida Preservation Hall to transform the former church into a sacred hall of sound with a custom sound system and highly curated night of beats and ambient visuals.

Headlining artist will be the Brooklyn-based producer, DJ, promoter, and label curator, Sobolik, who is regularly found playing their unique mix of experimental leftfield techno, UK bass, dub breaks, and wonky high bpm club beats at renowned venues across the country and abroad.

lowercase pres. MOVE YOU | an underground dance party at The Waiting Room in Troy, NY. For this special edition we are excited to welcome Brooklyn-based deejay, producer, promoter & educator, Derek Russo. Derek is lauded for his ability to adapt seamlessly to most any type of gig while still displaying his signature style. With over 2 decades of experience, he’s equally comfortable playing lower bpm, eclectic opening sets, to banging out house and techno in a dark basement, to disco and funk party jams on a sunny rooftop. As a producer, he has released on Make Mistakes, Perimeter Junk and his own label, Broad Channel. In addition, he throws an underground party in New York called Xoloft.

Support from lowercase residents Electronic Meanderings and Seth Nichols.

Weather permitting, we’ll start the evening off at 8p, outside on Broadway between 2nd & 3rd, before moving inside into The Waiting Room starting at 9:30p, where we will have deluxe sound from White Rabbit Audio.

Tickets for The Waiting Room are available at Resident Advisor for $15 (+ RA fees) advance / $20 at the door (https://ra.co/events/2435908). Pre-sale tickets can also be purchased at face value (cash only) at 518 Craft, 200 Broadway in Troy, and at Love Vinyl Records, 140 Erie Blvd in Schenectady. No cover for the outdoor portion of the event.
