Hi! One of my goals for this year is getting into road biking, as it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time. However, I’m kind of overwhelmed by it all and was wondering if you had any suggestions for a newbie. Would you recommend ordering a beginner bike online or going to a local bike shop? I live in the East Dallas area, not far from White Rock Lake. Also, what gear should I be looking into as a beginner? What is an absolute must, and what should I hold off on purchasing right off the bat? Thanks for any/all advice! (-:
Hi! Just found this exact model listed on FB Marketplace near me. MSRP for a 2019 was $840. How much would you offer? I will say that the bike looks like it’s in excellent (like new) condition, but worried about dry rot, etc. Seller listed it for $825. Was thinking about making a counteroffer, but curious to hear your suggestions.
