What do we think about tubbos PvP event?

i think this is some of the best representation the pvp community has ever gotten since the MLG hunger games stuff from like 2013 or whatever year that was. i really think this will help the pvp community a ton in the more mainstream perception. i just think having cart instead of crystal was a weird choice as cart is so so niche and crystal really is 1.9+ pvp bread and butter. i would love to know the thought process behind it. anyway what do you think? good? bad? you gonna try and participate? cheater problem?

idea

is delay remover bannable on servers as a mod? or not usable in tiertests? has anyone explored using this as a tech? it’s just like using place block bound as a key bound to click (technical minecrafters pretend i didn’t say that it’s just a comparison)

people in this subreddit can’t pvp

with the split ive seen with the attribute swapping stuff and other general sentiments i have seen, i can tell a majority of people in here are either new to pvp or do not pvp at all. i see generally that arguments for and against attribute swapping don’t go into the real weeds of why it is an issue. let’s look at some arguments i have seen.

  1. Attribute Swapping Makes The Game Too Hard
this is any argument to do with people who didn’t want it because it seemed “op”. this argument is used for crystal also sometimes. now, making the game too “op” is a non-issue. you have the ability to learn these “op” techniques. they are not hard to do. if you spent 2 weeks an hour a day learning all the tech you would be mt4. you would be able to use all of the tech to your advantage and know how to counter it. minecraft items are never inherently “overpowered” your knowledge of minecraft is. use your brain.

2. “This change isn’t for the PvP crowd, it’s for the casual players
casual players don’t know what attribute swapping is. this change would only ever hurt casual players by making minecraft harder to control. casual players are never in a situation where they would just get instantly killed by someone with a spear and mace. if they were, they would probably log off and play single player. PvPers are also almost certainly the majority at least out of multiplayer servers. DonutSMP, a pvp server, is the biggest server right now. before that, it was hypixel, a pvp server. i think the stats are that 3 out of the top 5 servers are pvp centered servers? any change that effects pvp effects a majority of multiplayer players.

ultimately they brought it back which is great, but it showed this subreddit has a ton of casual players who pvp on the side. i thought this subreddit was meant for pvpers. there are definetly some great actual pvpers who i look for in replies because they have knowledge, but a lot of the time you can tell no one here knows that they’re talking about.
theres probably a ton of other arguments i could debunk, if you’d like leave them in the comments both for and against attribute swapping, but this is all off the dome babyyyy

linux

does literally any cheat work on linux, the only one i’ve found is this github one called deadlocked, it’s just ESP and aimbot so it’s not the best, anything better out there?
