What are the best things to do in winter in or around the neighborhood?
I’m up for it all, staying in cozy vibes or enjoying being outdoors!

Lowest priced verified tickets for noname chicago on thursday 9/10 - at presale price
Hey yall, just wanted to let you know i listed two GA tickets on AXS for $36 each, which was the presale price. Nothing sketchy with getting you to venmo me etc, you can just go on the platform and buy them. Its lower price than another ticket on the platform for that show right now. :)

I recently learned that Astrud Gilberto originally went uncredited for “Girl From Ipanema” and Stan Getz went out of his way to ensure she received no royalties.
Article discusses this in detail. Don’t get me wrong I love the Getz / Gilberto collaboration with all my heart and it is one of my favorite projects of all time, but this has soured it for me. Getz bros don’t come for me.

Can somebody break down Zohran Mamdani’s plan for stretching pension repayments and what the pros and cons are objectively?
Not looking for opinions outside of this decision! Seems to be unsurprisingly criticized by fiscal conservatives (who generally disagree with his platform of course) but Zohran has said the proposal would have “no impact on retirees and their benefits or current employees and their future benefits.” Would love a digestible overview of this plan and what is really happening.https://www.cityandstateny.com/politics/2026/05/mamdanis-counting-pension-restructuring-balance-budget-will-unions-let-happen/413539/
