Probobly my last post.

I have been trying to ld for close to a year now and have only had success 1 or 2 times. I don't really think I am just in the best position I mean I am 15 living in my parents house obviously so I can't set alarms for wbtb and I always forget to reality check during the day and it's actually crazy how I managed to stick with it I mean I'm sadly have the unchoosable trait of if it doesn't work instantly I don't bother. At first I had a crazy passion to ld I just found it so interesting and I tried and tried again but now it has just turned into one of those things I remember for a day and do nothing. I used chatgpt to help me asking it questions. The only reason I didn't use reddit as much is because you can't always guarantee an answer so I am open to absolutely any advice as I still really want to lucid dream

Probably last post

So basically I have been trying to lucid dream for close to a year and only getting 1 or 2 ever and I find it very frustrating as I am one of those if ut doesn't work instantly I font bother witch sadly us not a trait I can choose but at first I had a burning passion to ld like nothing ever my heart was set on it witch is whay made my journey last so long without quitting I just don't think my environment suits the idea 9f all the setup for ld for starte4s I am 15 living in my parents house obviously do I can't set an alarm for wbtb or I will wake my parents up also I am extremely forgetful and always forget to practise putting my finger through my hand and also I was scared of my shit to try anything really incase I got sleep peralysis or thought of something scary in my dream and nowadays it has sadly become one if those half thought things where I kinda pick it back up again for a day and do nothing to help it. It's really sad as I still do want to ld with a indescribable desire but idk at this point

I need help with my progress

So I have been into this for maybe a week or so at this point. Previously I have done lucid dreaming with only 1 success for maybe 7 months bit thay isn't relevant in the past week I have tried one main technique but tweaked it and I usually got as far as the spinning feeling but last night I tried brown noise while I tried to go to sleep. What I normally do is lye on my back do a 478 breathing technique and then imagine a faint light behind my eyes. Last night I did this woth the brown noise. I was also insanely tired after 4 nights of camping and rough sleep and I mamage to get to hypnogogia for the first time ever. While I know this is a step toward ap it began with faint colours and 2 loud bone snapping sounds right in front of my face then distant celebrating. And I got scared and pulled out. And thay is my problem. I assume it is crucial to make it past hypnogogia bit I will only continue to get scared. Any tips?

Weird experience

Pls excuse my hopelessness I'm like brand new. So bas8cally I searched an ai I want an out of body experience and then it told me to to these 478 breathing technique Then imagine I warm soft light in front of your eyelids and straight away it was prolly placebo but I felt like a rocking sensation and it felt amazing and after like 6 mins of that my dad woke me bur when I closed my eyes I went straight back into it and then I heard some noises that where weird so I was like oh hypnogogia and there where all these colour witch was fine and stuff and I was paralysed not like actually paralysed like I could move but my brain doesn't want me too then I eventually got past that and woke up. All in the space of like 20 mins. This is only my 2nd time trying this ever and it worked both nights so how can I keep going woth this same style into an astral projection/lucid dream
