Is it possible to change my provider (RTC) during titration/post diagnosis?

Hi all,

I'm not loving the titration process with my current provider, PsychiatryUK, and I wondered if it is at all possible to change provider as I rushed into picking PUK initially. My issue is the rushed nature of the titration process, I understand funding cycles are stringent but there's not a lot of wiggle room to find what works before being discharged completely and requiring a new referral to try again.

My GP has no approved list of providers for shared care but were willing and helpful in supporting my initial RTC request.

Before I do anything, I wanted to know if this was a bad idea as I don't want to jeopardise access to medication completely, despite it not being the best experience.

Thanks :)

PIP review complete, gov site still shows original award

Hi all,

I may have been a little hasty checking the proof of benefits website but it still shows my original award, ending nov this year. Could it mean that they've decided it won't continue past nov or am I reading into it a little bit without the decision letter? I'm an anxious person so of course looking for some sort of reassurance.

Thanks all :)

How did you declutter your comic books?

Hi all!

Back in college, I ended up collecting a bunch of comics. Nothing of any value I don't think, just a few runs that I never cancelled, so ended up with a bit of a backlog. I organised them once and filled one of those comic boxes but then moved them all into a cube of my Kallax.

I'm not reading them, I'm not going to read them and if I do want to read them I'll either buy the volumes or read them online. I do collect pretty covers every now and then but that's it.

What's a good way to declutter a hefty amount of comics? People who buy comics in my area are really only after the ones they can make money on and selling them individually is a headache. I have the time to sell them, so I was considering collating them into each run and selling all that way.

Has anyone had something similar?

Thanks :)

NSV - Starting to forget how my body used to feel

I don't know if anyone else has felt this, but as a person who didn't really have the strongest connection to their body in the first place due to some mental health stuff, after 50lb down I'm starting to forget how my body used to feel.

I remember that I'd have to hold my breath while doing my shoes up, or I'd need to squeeze into some seats, or I'd be out of breath so much easier etc, but now I rarely have those problems. It's getting harder to remember what all those specific problems were being in a larger body. I just get up and do things now. If it's a 20 minute walk, that's fine.

I'm nowhere near where I want to be, but I am certainly stopping to smell the roses where I am. Has anyone else felt this?
