Bought this week: 2011 EX AT 259712 miles. Wasn't sold on a black car, but could not pass this up. Was riding to store in it, and told a friend I wasn't sure about the color, and might paint it orange like my first E. Parked and almost stepped on a pair of black Goodr sunglasses in the otherwise empty space by me. My favorite sunglasses for running. In black. Guess I will let Bentley keep his original color.

Haven't bolted it in, but bought a Ford Edge console modified for my 2006 E. Its got a manual transmission, so I use the parking brake all the time. There's another tray inside console I removed for pix. Can get the usb ports etc. redone. Had doubts, but the brake is easy to reach. Seats shift easily (arm rests had to be removed). Gap between it and subwoofer grill. Will drive around this week - so far, I really like it.

Put deposit down. They will do the 60k maintenance and I guess I will have a second E next week.

Lucy Fur keeps dropping spit-laden ball in my lap, on my shoulder, etc. I threw it 15 times (pretty far with a chuckit). Next, she ran around with her sister. She is panting though it is in the low 70s now. Dog has zero chill.

If the Ford Edge console mod for my 2006 Honda Element doesn't pan out, I will replace the armrests - had them re-done jik.

Pretty sure this is NOT oem. I can find no history of catalytic converter replacement in the fairly extensive records back to 2014 I got with car, but my E can almost drink a beer with me so maybe it was stolen earlier. My old E and a friend's E both had their cat converter stolen. Do I need to protect an aftermarket one with a shield? Do they get stolen too?

I've removed the seat armrests, though how I am supposed to screw in the covers for the holes on the sides of the seats is beyond me so far. It is tall, so trying to figure out whether it being cut down shorter is better. Anyone done a Ford Edge console mod? What did you do - use as is or make it shorter?

Let me give my Element peeps on Reddit and YT a(nother) shout out. Fixed my wobbly damn rocker of a driver's seat today. Easy once I saw how. Mind you, still had to replace a trim plug I somehow shot into outer space. But the seat is SOLID now! (The terrible upholstery is being replaced in mid-June.) Almost all of the tools on the seat were unnecessary. Pry tool for clips, small Phillips screwdriver, 12mm socket, and small flat screwdriver.

If I read these right, my Ancel device says the O2 sensors are fine? Just ordered some liqui-moly catalytic converter fuel additive cleaner. Figured use that before the one you spray into the throttle body thingy. Forgive me, this is a non mechanic doing web searches as I would rather not buy a cat unless I have to do so. Thoughts? Condolences? 2006 mt 4wd E. Runs fine no lag in acceleration.
