help with stressed gourami , api general fix.

recently i started treating this tank for parasites for my pygmys. every fish i have is fine except my gourami is stressed, i’ve checked my tank parameters and they’re all normal as usual but could it be the medicine hurting him? or is he uncomfortable because it’s also treating him? it’s still in first dose and the second will be added tomorrow after a water change, should i be concerned or let the api general fix run its course? i have shrimp pygmys snails and a couple old aged tetras that are all doing fine, only he is stressed. i have the lights turned off for now to ease his stress. any help appreciated

New pygmy owner need help, pygmy’s keep dying.

so about a week ago i bought 5 pygmys for my 10 gallon tank, so far only 1 is alive , 3 died within 2 days while the other 2 seemed to be okay until today i found one of them dead, i will include a picture of the dead fish if that helps, i checked all my parameters through out the week to make sure they’re okay, I throw in a mix of bug bites, hikari tropical pellets , and algae wafers. my ammonia nitrate and nitrite all read 0 (my tank is heavily planted) and my tank is more than a couple years old , I’ve lost some tetras that were close to their life expectancy so thats when i decided for new fish, I got a new honey gourami for about 4 ish months and he’s doing great, my shrimp have also been doing great and the remaining tetras as well. my ph is about 7.4 which is the only concern as i know they like softer water. what could be the cause of them dying? stress and low quality from the store? not getting enough food? i’m honestly very confused, ask me any necessary questions about my tank and i will answer,

another thing to add is my water flow provides enough bubbles for oxygen i would hope, i even try not to fill as much to the top so more water is disturbed for oxygen. fish i have is 1 honey gourami , 5 neo shrimp, 2 cardinal tetras , and the regular pest snails+ 1 nerite snail.
