How often do you actually cook in the van? I'm looking to buy and I'm really torn between having the facility to cook in there with a standard set up or going for a pull out set up. (thinking ply guys)
The pull out set up obvs has its advantages but.... Outside of recent months of dry weather.... Cooking in the rain and wind doesn't sound particularly pleasent.
The other option is of course a camp cooker in an awning.
My mother has terminal Cancer and is approaching the end. I have a 5 Yr old who understands that granny is ill and in hospital because of this.
We will be taking him to visit over the following weeks, at least to a point where it isn't distressing for him or her. She is completely bed bound and thin but she is still as sharp as she has always been and happy to have conversations with visitors, my lo won't notice too much difference from granny when she was well.
When the time comes, how do you explain the situation?
I work for a small logistics company, we run 12/14 vans daily that we load in the morning. All of the items we load are numbered but not numerical, this doesn't cause issue for 8 of our drivers as they geographically know their own route so load the van how they wish.
We've recently employed some new drivers whom dont have the necessary knowledge to load the vans in the required time... I came up with a solution (below) and having implemented the system for a few weeks, the new drivers are now loading quicker and more accurately than
the traditional more knowledgeable ones.
Every morning we have a "master loading sheet" available as a pdf for each route, using the get data I am able to pull the information I need manually from the pdf and print off zonal sheets that assist loading. I currently do it for 3 routes and takes about 15 mins because it's a lot of clicking and printing (5 zones per van and 3 vans currently).
What slows the process is that when the data is pulled from The pdf and put into zones, I have to use the drop down arrow to change it from all zones to zone 1, then zone 2 etc etc..... Is there a way I can just get excel to print each individual zone without all the faff?
This post was originally removed as the title wasn't acceptable, hopefully it will be now.
