I'm an NHS doctor and built a free library of beautiful breathing exercises

Hey,

I made a free library of simple breathing patterns (Box, Coherent, Alternate Nostril / Nadi Shodhana etc.) that play in the browser, whenever you need a break. Each one is a scene from nature - snow drifting over Everest, leaves falling, rain at night, with a simple indicator and music to follow along with. You can pick a breathing pattern, pick a scene, and loop it for as long as you like (up to 8 hours!). There is Night Mode too, for winding down before sleep.

The visuals are clips from a breathing app I made during COVID (Lungy), where these scenes respond to your breathing in real-time.

Would love to hear any feedback - thank you!

I'm an NHS doctor and built a free library of beautiful breathing exercises

Hey,

I made a library of simple breathing patterns (Box breaths, Coherent, Nasal Breathing etc.) which sync to visuals and sounds that evolve as you breathe. They play free in the browser, and you can set the timing for as long as you like and choose different breathing patterns and scenes.

Would love to hear any feedback - thank you!

Design Innovation Project on Facial Palsy

Hey,

I'm an NHS doctor and researcher based at Imperial College London. I'm currently completing a master's project on Bell's Palsy, looking into ways design engineering may be able to help with facial palsy, especially in assessment and rehabilitation.

I'd love to hear more about your personal experiences (struggles and ways in which current management is lacking, especially in the NHS) and get feedback on the project so far.

Please comment here or DM me and I'll get in touch with more details - thank you!

I built a mindful breathing app that responds as you breathe!

Hey,

Pleased to show my app, Lungy (https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id1545223887).

Rather than following a simple timer, Lungy guides you through interactive exercises that respond as you breathe. And then you get feedback after each exercise, it also includes sleep sounds, an app blocker and a mode where you can customise the visuals.

I really enjoyed building it over the last few years, but I'd love to hear any feedback - thanks!
