visiting atlanta for a few days, any record stores with good crusty selection?

I’m unsure of what to do here. I’m still paying off the loan on this car and I need it to last. it started being noticeable a few days ago with an issue that may or may not be related. Only on left turns my car would rattle and have trouble accelerating while turning. then yesterday as I was pulling into a parking lot, it just fully stopped accelerating. It didn’t rev or anything, i had my peddle to ground and all the lights on my dash came on and it just stayed still. Everyone’s telling me it’s a transmission issue but is there anyway to come back from it without replacing the transmission? It sounds unlikely but I just want to know my options.

2013 Hyundai Elantra roughly 118,000 miles

Anybody got any recommendations for affordable mechanics? Pretty sure we’re having a transmission issue with my car. praying it’s just needing transmission fluid since i haven’t had it very long but need to get it checked regardless. any leads on the cheapest fix possible would be a great help.

Gonna be visiting louisville soon and wanted to know if there were in any record stores around with a decent crust or even just punk in general selection. shoot me some spots to check out!
