DAE have a sudden urge to completely disappear when life gets overwhelming, then quietly reappear once everything settles down?

Whenever stress, responsibilities, or mental exhaustion pile up all at once, my immediate instinct isn't to vent or ask for help—it’s to go completely off the grid.

I find myself logging out of every social media account, setting my phone to "Do Not Disturb," and pulling away from group chats. It’s not that I hate anyone or want to cause drama; it’s just that processing heavy emotions feels impossible when there’s constant digital noise and expectation to respond. I just want to retreat into a quiet bubble, recalibrate in complete isolation, and only step back into the world when I feel like a functional person again.

The hardest part is coming back and having to explain to people that I didn't hate them—I was just at capacity. Does anyone else run on this burn-out-and-isolate cycle?

TIL Mag-asawa pala sina Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon

The first time I saw them together on screen was in their movie "Third World Romance", and honestly, I get the chemistry.

Nagulat lang ako kagabi na while watching the news, kasal pala talaga sila in real life.

What is a red flag in a partner that society tells people to "accept", but you consider an immediate dealbreaker and you know won't work in the long run?

What is a piece of advice someone gave you offhandedly that ended up changing your life?

A few years ago, someone casually told me, "You don't have to attend every argument you're invited to." At the time, they just said it in passing during a lunch conversation, but it completely reframed how I protect my energy and respond to conflict.

It made me realize how often people drop life-changing wisdom without even realizing they’re doing it.

Has anyone ever said something to you that stuck with you forever and genuinely changed your perspective? I’d love to hear the small phrases that made a big impact on you.

Mount Nailog

I was searching about Sibuyan Islands, and I came across one of its mountains: Mt. Nailog.

I tried finding pictures related to it, or maybe videos, but I was unable to find one.

Question: is this mountain open to the public for hike?

P.S. Not planning to hike there, just generally curious. If you have any other information related to it, kindly drop it here also. I just really wanna know more about this mountain. Thank you!!
