Is there a way I could’ve done this better:

This morning I avoided FOMO after MNQ took out Asia lows and I had a plan to long into VWAP but got a bit shaky due to the next 5 minute candle having ZERO wick which made me hesitate and the train left the station at that point.

So I waited. As price got into the 600s I decided I would short back into VWAP and due to my earlier hesitation on the long entries got a bit too eager and got chopped up between 615s and 630s.

I hit my DLL on 2 accounts and on the 3rd finally got a break below 600s to VWAP at 544 (1 mini @ 608. Peeled off 8 at 584 and runners to VWAP).

My main question is:

How do you personally handle potential tilt especially in trades where your thesis is there but your timing is off?

After szn 3 ending do I just need to be patient?

I’m on szn 4 episode 3 and I find myself asking “Do I really care anymore?”

Seems like all the big questions got answered already

Do I just need to keep going or can I be done now?

So I purchased a $50K instant funded account from a firm (won’t mention name as I don’t give free advertisement) and my initial drawdown was 48,500.

Simple.

I’m up about $500 and of course now my maximum loss to avoid blowing the account is $49,000.

Again simple.

My question now is: “If my $1,500 trailing drawdown will always trail my balance on this Sim funded account and my payout eligibility goal is $2,000 what is the point of trying to grow the account since the maximum payout to avoid a breach is $1,499.99 even if I made $100K?”

The firm has no consistency rules and a legit track record going back to 2022. Am I missing something?

I caught the top of the NQ drop yesterday. All of my macro data and indicators pointed bearish and within 6 min of the open I was in the trade with 10 MNQ and up over $3K by 9:45a.

I now have my stop in profitable territory so any anomaly type reversal I’m still walking away with a 4-figure day.

But instead I take profit by 10a.

Nice day but I check price later and see I could have easily had my best day ever…

I’m telling myself that I stuck to my plan and that’s what matters most and the fact that I left over 1,000+ pts on a 10 contract trade is just inner noise.

Fairly new to trading so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I heard about Expanse being epic and thought I’d give it a try—also I’m a Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul binger and saw “Mike” was in it so I said “I’m all in!!!”

After episode 1 I am completely confused and have no real grasp of what the hell is happening!

Grant it the end of the episode finally got my attention so I’m going to watch episode 2 but my main question is:

Was episode 1 actually amazing and I just missed the point?
