Hi everyone! I’ve been making music for 4 years now (producing, sing-songwriting, playing instruments) and I love field recording/recording foley and incorporating it in my music. Right now whenever I do foley or field recording I either download from freesound or borrow a zoom h6. I was thinking about buying a H5 studio but just wanted to ask if this is the best one for me. here are the requirements:

- want to have it always with me and be able to quickly record stuff on the go
- im also gonna use it to record live performances (so using other mics with it)
- want to be able to use it for 7+ years
- budget isnt a problem

hi everyone! im about to buy a macbook for music production professionally and i just wanted to have ur thoughts before i definitely buy it. im planning on using this for the next 7-10 years. i have student discount and m5 with student discount is almost the same price as an m4. i use ableton and sometimes kontakt orchestral libraries but not always.

Hi everyone! I need a new macbook and before I’m buying one I just want to make sure I’ll get the best one I can possibly get. My budget is around the €2500 and I have apple student discount. I’m currently thinking about a 14 inch M5 pro standard display 18 core cpu 20 core gpu 24 GB ram 1 TB storage. I’m thinking about maybe keeping it at 15 core cpu, 16 core gpu but buy 48 GB ram instead for €260 more. I’m a music student, use Ableton and I plan to use this for 7-10 years.

I’m a 20 year old singer songwriter and music production student from the Netherlands and in a half year from now I need to do an internship. I make alternative music/ dark pop and for the past 5 months I’ve been searching for good internship places around the world but I have a hard time finding one. I looked at my spotify playlists and texted about 70 singer/songwriters and music producers but most of them say they can’t say this far ahead so they cant guarantee me anything. Theyre also all from LA and our school really recommends not going to america for safety reasons because of Trump. Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas for internships within the alternative pop scene? I feel really lost after sending emails to over 70 people for the past 5 months
