Earwigs devouring my strawberries

My strawberry plant is finally producing a bunch of flowers but every strawberry I get is eaten by earwigs :( I have diatomaceous earth and have tried a soy sauce and oil trap but I still find them on my strawberries every night. I’m in Illinois and have been getting a ton of rain. Any tips to get rid of them?

Is this a flea?

I found this on my hand while putting away groceries at my boyfriend’s house. I work at a greenhouse and he has two cats so I’m not sure if I should be worried! Apologies for the bad photo quality and pictures of said cats attached I had to.. I’m in northern Illinois

It’s supposed to storm all day, will it be too much water and damage the plant? The pot does have a drainage hole at the bottom and I put stuff around the base so it doesn’t blow over. This will be my strawberries third appearance in this subreddit because you guys are helpful :D

I just bought a strawberry plant and repotted it today, I didn’t realize that the “potting soil” I used is terrible quality and has very bad reviews… should I take it out and replace the soil? Finished
