Fitbit Air Readiness vs Whoop Recovery: same thing or not? Want input from people who wore both

Hi folks, two questions:

  1. Is there any difference between whoop recovery and fitbit air readiness?

  2. Every review says Whoop is "for serious athletes" and Fitbit Air is "for casual people.", but no one explains what that actually means.

If the core metric is just Recovery vs Readiness, where's the real gap? Is it the score itself, or the stuff around it? What would an athlete actually miss on the Fitbit?

I used whoop for one year and was happy overall, but can't justify subscription cost anymore.

How is the game on Steamdeck

Hey! I want to try it, but can't find any fresh videos where people are playing it.

Is it possible to get stable 30 fps with medium settings?

Hey folks, looking for a sanity check from people who've been through this.

I broke my RB2140 Wayfarers that I bought in 2013. Pre-composite era, proper G-15 glass lenses some sentimental value so I want to keep them.

It seems that I have two options for the repair:

  1. Laser weld the broken piece back onto the embed plate, but I need to find a place to do it and could be more expensive.

  2. Full hinge replacement which I can do in the local optics shop in one hour and $15-20.

Option 2 sounds more standard and cheaper, but I'm worried about: (a) visual mismatch with the intact side, (b) whether universal hinges hold up long-term vs. original Luxottica parts, (c) whether anyone here has had the new hinge come loose after a season.

For those who've repaired Wayfarers or other acetate frames, which path did you go, and how did it hold up? Anything I should be asking the shop before handing them over?

Thanks!
