Is BBT reliable when taking progesterone supplements?

I started tracking BBT a few days ago for the first time and this is also my first cycle on Letrozole and progesterone supplements (Duphaston).

Honestly, my BBT is causing me more confusion than reassurance about whether I’ve actually ovulated 😪

My recent BBT:
Oct 2 — 36.20°C
Oct 4 — 36.29°C

Oct 5 — 36.21°C (started progesterone + OPK positive at 5pm)

Oct 6 — 36.31°C + my 1 and only BD at 11:50pm

Oct 7 — 36.46°C (today)

My OPK was getting darker on Oct 5 at 2pm and clearly positive at 5pm.

Would the BBT rise on Oct 7 still be useful for indicating ovulation, or can progesterone supplements cause this kind of temperature rise?

would I have already missed the fertile window by only BD-ing at 11:50pm last night? 😪

partner who can’t perform on the most important days

First cycle on Letrozole and I was feeling really hopeful. We’ve been trying for a while, and I finally saw a doctor a few weeks ago to get some help.

But… it takes two hands to clap. 😭 My husband gets stressed easily and unfortunately wasn’t able to perform during my fertile window.

Usually I tell him in advance when I’m likely to ovulate so he can mentally prepare, but this cycle Letrozole seemed to bring ovulation forward by a few days.

I got a positive OPK yesterday at 5pm.

We tried yesterday but failed, and again this morning (supposedly ovulation day), but he was too stressed too.. so failed again. We’ll try again tonight, but that feels like our REALLY last chance this cycle. 😪

I’m honestly so sad and frustrated. Maybe I have better follicles this cycle because of Letrozole, but… THERE’S NO SPERM. 😭

I still have progesterone medication to take after ovulation, but now I’m honestly reluctant to start it if we can’t manage to have sex tonight either.
I know it’s not really his fault and I don’t want to pressure him, but it’s just so heartbreaking after putting in all this effort and then potentially missing the window..

Anyone else been through this? How did you deal with it?

My positive OPK was yesterday at 5pm.. will I miss the window if baby dance tonight at 11pm? 🥹🥹 this feeling sucks.

Did letrozole shift your ovulation day?

Did letrozole shift your ovulation day?

My doctor prescribed Letrozole and Duphaston for my short luteal phrase.

I usually get a positive OPK around CD17, but my husband will be away for work on CD17–18 😭😭, so I’m a little worried about missing my fertile window.

My doctor said the medication shouldn’t change my usual ovulation timing, but I’ve read that letrozole can sometimes shift ovulation.

For those who have taken letrozole, did your ovulation day shift compared with your usual cycle? Did you ovulate earlier, later, or around the same time?

Thank you everyone for all the advice and encouragement so far! ❤️ With your encouragement, I finally found the courage to visit the doctor and get things checked. I really appreciate everyone who shared their experiences and took the time to respond. 🥹

Sudden change in ovulation and shorter luteal phrase

TTC has been so hard lately, and honestly, I feel like I can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. 🥹

Has anyone experienced a sudden shift in ovulation day or a shortened luteal phase after previously having regular cycles? Did it eventually return to normal, and how long did it take?

I’ve been trying to conceive since January, but only started using ovulation kits in April. In April, I was using a digital ovulation kit but couldn’t catch any surge. I’m not sure if I was too stressed or anxious about TTC at the time. I switched to OPK strips in May, and in both April and May, my positive OPK was around CD 12–14, with a 14-day luteal phase.

Then in June, my cycle was really disrupted, probably after a bad flu. Since then, I’ve been ovulating around CD17, and my luteal phase has shortened to around 8–10 days. It’s been worrying me, especially since we’re TTC.

I’m currently 8 DPO and started having brownish-red discharge today. I was really hoping either to get a good news this cycle or at least have a longer luteal phase. 💔

My TTC deadline is the end of this year, so I’m starting to feel like my time is running out. 🥹 I’m 35 and my son is already 5 this year.. I haven’t actually been as stressed or anxious lately, so I’m not sure what’s causing the change. 😭

Magnetic part of the mop pad is stuck

Hi! I'm using a Dreame L10 Ultra robot vacuum.

The magnetic part of the mop pad disk is stuck inside the vacuum. The magnet is very strong, so I can't remove it easily. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to take it out? I need to remove it before I can attach a new mop pad disk.

Thanks!

CD 18 OPK Easy@home

Hello! I got a positive OPK yesterday on CD17, but the surge has dropped today on CD18. Does that mean I've already ovulated? Is there still a chance if we baby dance again tonight? Thanks!!

Is this a positive? CD 17 Easy@home OPK

Is this a positive OPK? Or it should get more darker? This is the only photo I have. I didn’t baby dance yesterday.. worried I might missed the window.. I can only baby dance tonight.

Please help me read this 😭😭

Did I miss my surge, or did it just not happen yet? I noticed that my surge is higher in the noon or morning.. I waited til noon today just to have concentrated pee.

Flo predicted I’d ovulate on CD13, so after my CD12 morning result I thought I’d get a positive soon.

I noticed watery and stretchy CM on CD11, but today (CD13) it’s stretchy but thicker.

The heart and hopes dropped just like how the surge did 😭 Should I keep testing/tracking?

P/s: I baby danced on CD 10 and 12 night. Should I continue baby dance tonight? 🥲

Hi everyone, I'm tracking ovulation with Easy at home and noticed a big LH ratio change within the same day. Is it normal?

CD9 results:
• 12:30pm - 0.42
• 6рт - 0.18

Is it normal for the T/C ratio to fluctuate like this before the LH surge? My predicted ovulation is around CD13, so I thought the afternoon rise might mean the surge was starting and I can start baby dancing.

If two tests on the same day show different ratios, which one should I trust more? Does this kind of fluctuation also happen during the peak period?
Thanks!
