They will do whatever they want unless the community raises its collective voice in protest.
Now is the time to do that while it's only partially built and still has to pass the Vineland planning board on August 5.
The planning board is not a freewheeling, public comment type of meeting. It is a place where people are sworn in to give their testimony.
Sustain SJ will be there to object to this project and is standing ready with experts to testify against it.

Amazon is due to take over the AC Racetrack to build a giant distribution warehouse.
The Township of Hamilton is due to vote on this PILOT deal tomorrow at 630pm .
The township is under the impression that corporate welfare is okay. No wonder Bezos is so rich.
In this agreement, Amazon will only have to pay Hamilton Township an average of $2.3 million a year in lieu of property tax. Average, meaning the first few years they pay nothing but the $50,000 the land is assessed at now.
So, 29 years of not paying property tax, is 29 years of not paying for schools, and 29 years of not paying to Atlantic County. And 29 years of not paying the full amount of property tax on the improvements.

Whack-a-mole continues in South Jersey as plans for a data center were unveiled at City Councils last night. Residents who attended spoke out against these projects, while officials seemed to be under the influence of the usual litany of jobs and taxes.
Go to the city websites to find when the next planning, zoning, and council meetings are scheduled. Attend to voice your concern about allowing this extractive industry to drain your community resources.
