Frequent last-minute cancellations?

I’m *attempting* to try out CorePower for the 2 week free trial before deciding if I want to get a membership.

Problem is—classes are always getting cancelled.

First, my studio in the DMV market was closed to 2 weeks for a studio refresh.

Then, every class ive train to take has been cancelled less than 2 hours before start time. Granted I am trying to take less popular classes (core restore, CP1) but still.

On top of how little these classes seem to be actually offered (once a week for both) it really doesn’t seem worth it/new member friendly. I’m an active and regular Solidcore member which is right across the street from corepower and have never had this issue. I’ve had the studio late cancel maybe twice and each time gave a free class credit as compensation.

Should I just give up and find another yoga studio?

Curiosity on massive destashes

Genuinely not a criticism — especially as someone new to Mooncat and polish in general.

But I’ve seen a number of massive destashes (60+ never used or only swatched by polishes).

How do people acquire that much of a collection? Is it from pulling full collections or? Speaking as someone who only buys polishes at this point that I think I will want to wear repeatedly.

Rubber plant first timer

Let me preface this with the fact that I am brand new to plant ownership and I have no idea what I’m doing.

A few weeks ago I got a rubber plant from a local nursery. I immediately repotted it into a larger terracotta pot with a mix of regular and succulent potting soil (because I heard they needed good drainage.)

The plant seems to be doing fine I guess? Looks like there’s a new leaf coming in. But there’s also a brown spot that appeared on one of the older leaves.

And after reading more it seems like I should have done a different soil mix with perlite and orchard bark? But I’m scared to repot her again so quickly since I heard that’s bad as well.

Plant is almost directly in front of a window that gets indirect (I think?) sun most of the day. I water about once a week but have been doing the soil dryness check before I do.

Any help would be appreciated.

Single issue voter: Streeteries

Theoretically if one were a truly single issue voter on streeteries who would be the best Mayoral (and at-large) candidates to rank?

Ideally not just people who say they want to streeteries but preferably who actively make it a central part of their platform.

Another cart deinfluencing!

I’ve already narrowed it down but I probably should cut 2 more. If anyone has thoughts or advice! Any red flags or super similar shades?

Mermaid bait and atomica I can see being way too similar but I’m not sure which one I’d rather.

Also if folks have any swatches!
