Carving turns and teaching analysis feedback

I’ve been starting to work on my teaching analysis for my CSIA level 3 by looking at some of my skiing from last season. I’ve watched this video a few times and some feedback I’ve concluded for myself:

  1. I’m not dynamic enough in my ankles and knees, I need to think more about rolling them onto the new edge to increase my edge angle.

  2. I’m lengthening my body too much during transition instead of maintaining a long and short leg, killing momentum and releasing pressure too slow, losing that weightlessness feeling at the end of the turn and I increasing my transition time.

Would love to hear your thoughts on my feedback, if it’s correct and any additional feedback on my turns.

Feedback on short turns(Sorry in advance for poor quality)

Trying to progress to my CSIA level 3 however my short turns are lacking. I feel like I’m rushing a lot into the turn and have a problem with my pressure release, correct me if I’m wrong. Please let me know the major problems and potential fixes. Thank you in advance!

What size ski should I get?

I was looking into getting a pair of Rossignol super forza. I’m planning to take my level 3 ski instructor exam on them next season, I’m 5,9 80kg, should I got for the 164 or 171?
