Since I don't want to monitor the living room permanently, I thought it would be easy to disable the PoE port on my Dream Router 7. Today I touched the G5 Turrent Ultra and noticed it was warm.
The port was still disabled, and the camera was offline.
My assumption is that only the data port is disabled, but not PoE? It would also make sense as a precaution that the camera could withstand condensation or similar issues, even with the port disabled.
Ps.: Sorry for the question, but the AI only gives nonsensical answers, as if I had a PoE injector in between.
Dear electric MINI fans, I'd like to draw your attention to the fact that our F56 SE is also affected by a well-known problem that impacts almost all models of this generation:
As some of you know, the F56 series of Minis is severely affected when the door seals rub against the paintwork in the door windows. This eventually leads to paint abrasions, which are unsightly and ultimately result in surface corrosion. Please get a protective film, there are many suppliers online (I got mine from Etsy).
They are all overpriced, but when I applied the protective film today (I'd had the film at home for a year), I already noticed some minor wear on the paintwork. So please don't wait too long!
Ps: The photo is not mine, it is only for illustrative purposes.

Can’t believe this is still a problem even after all the software updates.
Mini-E. One of only fifty prototypes made. Left hand drive, no rear seats as the space was needed for the battery compartment. BMW put fifty of these experimental cars on British roads for a six month trial driven by the public to test how robust their early electric drive trains and control systems were. This is in the UK, January 2010 and "The Big Freeze". There weren't (m)any mainstream EVs on the market, maybe a few first generation Nissan Leafs. It was a brave move by BMW with huge reputational risk should the cars be seen to fail. It tested the tech which went into the first gen I3 and I8. It's the grand daddy of many of their EV range today. Was anyone involved in these pilots?
