Inspection question 2017 Nissan Versa

I recently purchased a 2017 Nissan Versa MT with 86,000 miles and I need to pass inspection before I can title it.

No check engine light, but it didn’t pass inspection because more than 1 system wasn’t ready. They told me to drive it about 100 miles over a few days for it to become ready. The battery connection was loose a couple days before and the car died. I’m thinking this could have reset the systems? I’ve already drove it 100 miles but it’s only been 2 days. I took it for reinspection but it still wasn’t ready. They advised I drive it a few more days and come back. Here is the report they gave me. It passed everything at AutoZone when they checked the OBD.

Will it eventually become ready? I need to get the title transferred ASAP. If it doesn’t become ready, can I take it to another shop and see if they would pass it?

I need some help and guidance. Thanks.

Has anyone replaced an entire front seat?

I have a 2017, and when I purchased it, there was an issue with the front passenger seat. The slide bar is missing, and it won't slide back. The back is not bolted down, and the airbag wires were cut right before the connector.

I'm considering purchasing an entirely new seat from a salvaged car and replacing the existing one. Has anyone done this? I'm new to this and want to understand what I'm getting into.

Obligatory first vortex post.

They turned out really good, and it was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased a used car, it’s in decent condition, but it’s black.

I have an appointment next week with That 1 Detailer for 2 stage paint correction + Mach10 ceramic. I know it’s not the best out there, but I got a pretty good deal I think. Full detail/wash, 2 stage correction, ceramic coating including windshield, glass, and rims for $600. They will come out to my house and wash in driveway and apply inside garage.

The hood is probably the worst part. Will the 2 stage correction fix this? I don’t expect showroom finish but at least 80%. I also have a few small rock chips in the front. I’m assuming I need to fix these before. I’m hesitant to do it myself, is this something I can have a mobile person come to me and fix the chips before my appointment? How much would something like that run me?

I’d appreciate any advice you can give me regarding this. Thanks.
