If you believe in God or Jesus, Why don't you believe in Santa Claus?
The question above is a little facetious. Although it's also kind of my honest question. For context, my brother and I both grew up going to the Mormon church, then later switched to a Christian one. When we were both around 14-15, we decided to stop going. He was an atheist for as long as I can remember. Then, when he was around 30, he had a severe, life-threatening accident, yet only walked out with some scratches. So he turned to religion; he started talking to me about god and how he is real, etc. At the time, I became fascinated with religion, specifically Christianity, and for around 6 months I would have called myself a Christian. Yet, the more research I did on religion, Jesus, the bible, etc. The less I believed, and now I don't believe in it or have faith in it at all.
Every time I talk to, watch videos on, or see posts about Christians when they are asked about certain discrepancies or contradictions in the Bible or religion, there is never a clear answer or response; it's always "I have faith because I want to." I'm paraphrasing only to make my point clear. WHY DO PEOPLE BELIEVE IN THIS BOOK!?
