Finished my first quilt!

I like to go all in and make things very hard on myself so I made a king/queen size quilt for my first project! I somewhat freehand quilted wavy lines using a walking foot because I don’t have a serpentine stitch on my machine. Although I would have loved to do some hand quilting, I don’t have the patience for that, so I just hand stitched the binding on the front.

What happened to this lily?!

The gardens of the hospital I work at grew this weird mutated stargazer lily! Does anyone have any idea what could cause this to happen?

Help with fraying on finished skirt

I just finished sewing my first skirt and I used a linen fabric. I’ve only hemmed things before and made a couple pillow cases and a tote bag.

I was following a YouTube tutorial and the YouTuber had a serger she was doing all her edges with and I shrugged it off because I don’t have one. As I was going on with the project the fraying in my fabric was insane but I pushed through because I thought it would be okay once it was done. Now that I am done I decided to look for any helpful solutions to help stop the fraying (which admittedly was a silly choice, I should have looked before) and I’m realizing that I should have maybe been doing something to stop the fraying while making my skirt.
Is there any way to save my skirt from fraying into pieces without redoing the whole skirt? Please help 😭

Edit: Used this video ( https://youtu.be/0xlltbPezFE?si=HwIH6n617I3GA8eA ) to make this skirt based off inspo from an instagram post I saw. Used woven linen fabric

Edit edit: Thank you all for all the ideas! I’m going to look into what my machine can do stitch wise to use the overlock or zig zag stitch or I might end up doing a bias tape finish! And also thanks for the compliments too, I’m super proud of the skirt even though I made some mistakes with not caring about the seams!
