Made a really dumb mistake yesterday - I was cleaning off the build plate and left it on my table. I queued up a new print before going to bed without reinstalling the build plate. Long story short I awoke to a filament blob on the magnet plate and the fan knocked off the .4 hotend coated with filament and the rubber boot on the hotend split and off the hotend. No visible damage to the magnet plate so I cleaned it off. I think the hotend is shot and ordered a replacement. It’s coated with filament so could possible be cleaned. This was the factory installed hotend and I believe I have a .4 stainless steel backup that came with the P1S. Can I use this the same as the factory version? I print exclusively PLA. Also is there any other things I need to check or be aware of? Any help is much appreciated! Thank you in advance.
