So it’s been a bit more than a month now since my car got submerged in water, and most of the comments on my earlier post were saying that the biggest issue was going to be corrosion, but since my car was galvanized it survived, however i had two different issues at the time so that’s why I’m going to give you an update and I might need more advice lol.
so regarding the first issue, the bad order, one of the people in the comments suggested that I get an ozone generator, which I did. I got one and it removed 90% of the small while 10% persist, but the smell is way better than it was. Shout out to him.
The second issue which did not get resolved yet was the key recognition where I used to turn on the car very easily before it got submerged and switch the lock on and off from miles away, but now since the water basically entered the car, it was very hard, but it’s a bit better than it used to be a month ago
so now instead of trying to turn it on 20 times i only need to try 3 times before it fully turns on however I can’t lock the car because if I lock it, I cannot unlock it, so this is where I need help with. How can I fix the key car sensor, so even when I’m inside the car it keeps giving me “key not detected” if anyone has any experience with something similar, please let me know. Thanks!
