Happy Janmashtami to my beloved Krishna. 💙🦚

The Krishna of the Mahabharata has always been so much more to me than the mischievous child of Gokula. He was a guide when the path ahead seemed impossible, a friend when Arjuna needed someone to stand beside him, and the voice that reminded him of his duty when doubt took over.

He never fought the war for Arjuna. Instead, He became his charioteer and showed him how to walk through the hardest moments without losing sight of dharma.

Perhaps that's what makes Krishna so special — He doesn't promise that life will always be easy. He teaches us how to find our way through it.

On His birthday, I just want to say: thank you, Krishna, for being the guide in the middle of the chaos. 💙

I've been curious about Rama and Lakshmana's bond in the Valmiki Ramayana.

We often hear about Lakshmana's devotion to Rama, but what about Rama's feelings toward Lakshmana? Are there passages that show how deeply Rama loved or valued his brother?

I'd love to hear some of the most touching moments or verses about their relationship, especially during the exile and Lanka.

If possible, please share the Kanda/Sarga/verse references too! 🙏🧡🤍

Since, Balrama Jayanti is coming up. I have a question. Why do people hate Balrama?? I mean what's the reason? 🤷‍♀️ People say he is getting worshipped because of isckon and also since he is the brother of Krishna. As far as I know Balrama worship is very ancient not an Isckon invention 🙂 and people always say that he is a drunkard, hot tempered arrogant guy who is just a headache for Krishna. I want opinion from you guys😭

Recently, I have came across some people who were saying that Draupadi is actually vishnu's wife lakshmi that's why Lakshmi asked for permission to be the wife of the Indras(as in the pic). But after some lines, it is said that she is celestial Lakshmi (also in the pic) .

Now I am confused, isn't Rukmini should be Lakshmi?? And if Draupadi was truly Lakshmi then why would she agree to marry the Indras?? And consider krishna(Vishnu) as her Sakha/Brother. And why would Vishnu agree to it?? I mean Shri is his wife🤷‍♀️

Pls anyone explain it to me🥲

Recently I was reading the Mausala parva of Mahabharat from the CE. But I noticed a strange contradiction (that is what I call it is). In the first picture, it is written that yadava women along with The Yadavas went to the Prabhasa(Tirtha).

In the second picture, it is written that Satyabhama accompanied Krishna in the Prabhasa. However after these lines, we never get any verse or a word about Satyabhama or any other women at all during this entire brawl.🤷‍♀️

However we see in the third picture, it is clearly stated that the women of all the families of Yadavas were in Dwarka. None of the women accompanied the yadavas.

I think it is a major contradiction like the madri and pandu one( in one verse it is said that pandu and madri were cremated and in another verse it is said that both the bodies were brought in Hastinapur 🙂.

I think the Puranas did a fantastic job here by removing these verses and making the trip to Prabhasa only male one.

If you are a Rukmini bhakt/Lover, this book is a must read❣️ It is the best book I have read about Mata Rukmini. This book portrays Rukmini as a confident Kshatriya princess, a political diplomat, a perfect queen and an equal counterpart of shri krishna 💙 . This book portrayed Mata Rukmini not as a timid princess begging for krishna to marry but a fierce princess who refuses to bow down to Jarasandha's whims. And the Best part is that this book doesn't contain any Jealousy sort of thing between Satyabhama and Rukmini ✌ . My only criticism is that I didn't like the part where the Abhiras at the end abducted Mata Rukmini, I mean she is Mahalakshmi herself how can a petty bandit even touch her?

Overall, I liked this book a lot and I would like to suggest this book to the one who really like reading about itihaas and puranas like me😽

Whenever people think of mahabharat, they think about politics, cruelty. Personally I feel that mahabharat definitely has funny moments in between the politics🙃

Mine is that Krishna didn't love Rukmini and married her out of obligation. I mean are you fr!? Krishna literally crashed her swayamvar🥱 and also it is said that Krishna loved Satyabhama the most but I don't think so as Krishna loved both his wives Satyabhama amd Rukmini equally. 🤷‍♀️

The most bizzare thing I have ever heard about Rukmini is that Krishna didn't loved her and married her out of obligation / pity. 😶😶 I mean seriously?? Krishna literally crashed Rukmini's swayamvar so that only he could marry Rukmini. I heard that he loved Satyabhama the most but I don't think so. Since the scriptures say that his most beloved wives were both Rukmini and Satyabhama 🥱

I grew up in a bengali household, so in our family, Radha Krishna is the main deities. But as I started to research more and more about Krishna, I realised, the name Radha is not even in major scriptures like Mahabharat, Harivamsha, Vishnu puran or even Bhagwatam. If she is not in any major scriptures how come people started to worship her??
