Global brain dump canvas

So the idea isn't just the canvas itself. Or maybe we don't need a specified canvas for that but the main idea i had is to fix a problem i face:

When jotting down ideas and sketches sometimes I tend to mix projects and different ideas in the same drawing. I got the idea of what if we had. the option to select all objects relating the "odd" concept and start a new drawing with it. This to me seems like an easy way to stay organized and also not to compromise on the thought process and flow. It's a quality of life feature but I'd love to have such an option as I simply work on multiple projects at the same time and ideas come to mind mid work on other projects. I wouldn't want to interrupt that flow.

Significant energy use - no files open

Hello,

I thought I'd just put it out there. I understand this is a graphics software, but not sure if this is considered normal.

I just started the day, fresh start, I opened the usual apps I open (CMS, Email, Slack, Google Chrome and Illustrator). I haven't opened any file in Illustrator yet, but I see this.

Let me know if this is the case for you as well. I have no idea if this is fine or if this needs to be fixed.

No permissions to open and alter some files

I recently got a M5 Max macbook pro, upgraded from i9 macbook pro 2019. Running the latest public Macos.

Not sure where to start, it seems very random. I gave Numbers for example access to full disk, which is not supposed to be needed to simply open files (from icloud drive or local disk).

I keep getting these messages to some files. Some other files that were made with the same (older) version of numbers do open. So I am not sure what's the problem.

Similar problem happens with Keynote.

I disabled file vault and it didnt help so i re-enabled it.

Sometimes I can't export files because of no permission to save on desktop or downloads or anywhere really... I don't get it. I am lost at this point.

I'd appreciate any help with this. Thanks in advance.

Why sending me a warning of missing CC Library assets every 30 second

When having an open document with missing CC Library assets, I get this warning every 30 seconds. I mean, I get it... there are missing assets, I choose to ignore it. Why prompt me non stop to the point I can't work and have to close the files that i am using as reference.. Pretty annoying..

"Some CC Library linked assets cannot be found. Click Replace to relink

assets using the Links panel."

illustrator needs the Zoom engine of Adobe XD

So here's something I wish would be in illustrator. So far the zoom in illustrator is fine but still not as smooth. It could be the limitation of the technology (Which I doubt it is) or just adobe being lazy.

I love the zoom engine in Adobe XD. It's so smooth (I know the video looks as if it's lagging but it's not) and it's actually feels "live". While zooming moving the mouse cursor would directly change the zoom center to the cursor location.

It's just a small thing I loved to share my thoughts about. Let me know if you have a similar feeling if you use both apps.

Apple Numbers, Pages, Keynote can't open files from icloud drive

So this started happening recently as I purchased a new macbook. I have my files in iCloud Drive. Opening the files shows a message:

>Sorry this spreadsheet couldn't be opened right now. Please try again.

Moving the file to desktop shows a different message upon opening:

>"filename.numbers" can't be opened right now. Operation not permitted"

It's worth mentioning that the app has full disk access..

Browser url profiles

Hello,

I have a special profile for Google Chrome. I use that profile for Google slides (Believe it or not) for speeding up my process in creating branded keynotes for my clients.

Now since today many apps are web based, it'd be awesome to have a special profile switching feature for browsers that could detect domain names and change accordingly. So when switching from google slides to say any other website, it changes to the general browser profile, and as mentioned, to have it change to the relevant profile say if we move to a different website that has a defined profile.

It's just a thought I have since I use many different tools and it'd be great to keep my hand on the tourbox and utilize it for my whole workflow.

Let me know what you guys think and if you have similar need.
