This is the first time I’ve posted about my experience with AA, but I really want to thank all of you because this community has made it easier for me to deal with AA.
I was diagnosed last year, I’ve always had a really good head of hair & it came out of nowhere, possibly due to stress or losing my best friend of 10 years a couple of years ago, idk.
it started out small with two spots and now I have 5 spots. I receive steroid injections monthly and I’m too scared to take minoxidil.

I was considering JAK inhibitors but I’m not sure it’s worth the potential side effects.

If anyone has positive stories about remission, please share your experiences. I want to feel hopeful about this mess of a condition.

Whoever is reading this, I want to say it does get better. I’ve seen tons of regrowth with injections and acceptance :)

Hi everyone,

My boyfriend and I were at a festival and signed up for a free vacation presentation. We were a bit hammered when we thought this was a good idea LOL

The reason we went ahead with it was that the location was about an hour away from our place, so we thought we were only paying for the stay & the guy selling it to us let us know we would only have to sit through a presentation and say no.

Now, we’ve booked our trip and presentation, and I completely messed up by not doing proper research. They’re putting us up at a really crappy hotel. The pictures online are gross and scary, to be honest. I figured since it’s near the beach, I can’t expect something fancy but this is straight up creepy.

What can we do? Is there any way to get out of the presentation? Or can we not stay at the hotel and just attend the presentation?
I even considered changing my CC info but don’t think that would work. Ugh I messed up.
