Figma to Framer
It’s my first time using Framer, and I’m trying to take a website I designed in Figma and get it live.
I’ve been using the Figma-to-Framer plugin, and most elements have transferred across well. but, I’m having some issues with the decorative background layers and I’m not sure of the best way to structure them.
In Figma, the page is built using one main auto layout frame, with separate auto layout frames for each section. The “Background Decorations” frame sits behind the sections and is set to ignore auto layout.
When I copy the design into Framer using the plugin, the background elements no longer align with the sections in the same way they do in Figma.
I suspect I may need to rethink how the Figma file is structured, but I’d appreciate any advice or tips from anyone who has encountered a similar issue. I've took screenshots of my layer stack for reference.

Groom's trip
Hi everyone,
I'm getting some ideas for my groom’s trip in 2027 and Lisbon has made it to the top of the shortlist. It'll be a group of around 10-15 guys, early 30s. I'm looking for something a bit more music and food focused.
When - At the moment we're trying to decide between 4 days in June or September 2027 and would love to hear which month you'd would recommend.
Music scene - I'm a big fan of soulful and underground house music over EDM.
- Which clubs, promoters or venues should I be looking at?
- Are there any annual events in June or September that are worth planning the trip around?
- Is there anything we should know about club door policies as a larger group? For example, is it better to arrive earlier, split into smaller groups, avoid certain venues, etc?
Jazz - I'd love to visit a jazz bar one evening. Any venues would you recommend for live jazz?
Where to stay - Open to a nice hotel, but swaying more towards a villa or apartment. Ideally walkable to good restaurants and nightlife. What areas would you recommend?
