Got my 5000 mile service. And now my tires are overfilled.

Am I worried about my tires being over filled? When I left the dealership, they were all 37-38 PSI. That's too high according to the door sticker. EDIT to add: it's now morning and I checked again. All tires are 33-34 PSI. I will monitor it for a few days. Thank you for all of the advice.

Greensboro Toyota (formerly Rice) recommendations

I have a new Toyota that came with Toyota Care for 2 years/25,000 miles. I'm due for my first oil change. Does anyone have opinions about the service center on Battleground? I can go to any Toyota dealership and will--at least for the first 2 years.

Connection issues

Along with so many others, I'm having issues since the (unnecessary?) update. I have a Roku Premiere.

It won't stay connected to my internet. I know it's not the router, my phone and computer are still connected. Every app takes at least 20-40 seconds to load. The remote is glitchy. I have had to restart repeatedly.

They are making me just want to give up and throw it out the window. And I was the person who turned so many people onto cord cutting and Roku, I feel like I need to apologize for getting them into a huge mess, lol. So--suggestions? This level of incompetence from a company is just not sustainable for my use. I will eventually get so fed up I will get a different device. So, I've started looking.

I've had Firesticks in the past and didn't really care for them. Any suggestions?

Mens shelter items

Someone gave me a part of their Walmart order that was not ordered by them. It's packaged men's socks and men's white tank undershirts. Does anyone know a place to donate these? I can drop them off tomorrow somewhere. TIA

Is there an easier "Trip A" reset?

CC XLE 2026. The only way I have found to reset the "TRIP A" mileage is to go into the Adaptive Cruise mode, find it there and reset it. It's certainly not anything I would ever attempt to do while driving. I have always had a habit of checking every fill up for my mileage, I guess it's just a game I play with myself.

IS THERE AN EASIER WAY??

Phone charging area

CC 2026 XLE. I like the area, use it for my phone, and want to use the other side of it for my sunglass clip. But it's so dark! Does anyone have an idea of something I can do to that area to lighten it up a bit? Nothing I've tried to stick on it works.

Rant incoming in 3...2...1.

I have fostered kittens for over 15 years for our local shelter. Technically, we're not a "no kill" shelter, but we have had many, many dogs and cats live at the shelter for over a year before being adopted. It's a great shelter, and I'm proud to be part of it.

But all of my neighbors know I foster, so I'm the go-to cat information station. The most recent scenario is a neighbor who called me to come look at a stray cat in her yard. Her: "Is she pregnant?" Me: "Yes, yes, she is, will probably give birth in about 2 weeks. Your absolute best bet is to trap her and take her to the shelter. They'll scan her for a chip and give her a safe place to have her babies. They will be cared for, fostered, and treated medically until they are all old enough to be spayed/neutered, and then, they can be adopted. But kitten season is coming fast; if you're going to do it, do it soon!" But, NO. She doesn't want to do that. 7 weeks later, mommy cat brought her 4 feral kittens to my friend's yard. And they are seriously feral. Now, she has trapped them all and has them in her spare bedroom. A vet (friend of a friend) came by, shook her head, and essentially said, "Good luck, these kittens are almost too old to be domesticated."

IF SHE HAD JUST LISTENED WHEN I TOLD HER TO GET THEM TO THE SHELTER......and now, the shelter is full of kittens (and mommy cats), and they're complaining that "The shelter won't take them." And I'm not being helpful by telling them to now call one of the TNR programs. But for some reason, she doesn't want to do that either. I give up. I wouldn't be surprised if she just lets them go when she's tired of trying to tame them.

You guys are the only ones who might understand my frustration with "do-gooders" who really aren't helping the pet population at all.

How to handle graduation "announcements."

I think we're all kind of in the same boat here--getting by, but not a lot of extras. I'm facing 3 high school graduations from the children of people I used to work with (retired 4 years ago). Yes, we were good friends when at work, but I didn't really spend any time outside of work with them. Because of our work environment, we were pretty tight-knit at the time.

All 3 of these people have sent me high school/college graduation announcements--no specific party or anything like that, just an announcement. Am I obligated to send something? If I were working or still saw these people, I definitely would. But that's not the case. I don't have a lot of wiggle room in the budget for a gift like this.

2nd EDIT: I decided to ignore 2 of them. But the one from the son of the co-worked I was closest to, I sent a text--congratulating the mom on how well her son turned out (full ride to a university) and told her SHE had done a great job as a single parent.
