MS with Celiac Disease

Hello friends. Wondering if there’s anyone else out there in this tiny universe that has both of these diseases. My search within the MS subreddit came up with some old (8y) results for those that definitely had these. Thought I’d reach out and start again. Hoping to hear that I’m not the only one. 🥴

Any Celiac preppers here?

Hi all,
Just curious if there are any other fellow celiac people here that are feeling vulnerable if an emergency or natural disaster (or you name it) happened? My family personally has other food sensitivities other than needing strictly gluten free. I’d love to meet others who are also prepping. I’ve tried rather unsuccessfully to create gf community in the past. I volunteered for a celiac support group as an even planner and only a few people showed up to our events. I also funded a celiac Meetup dot com group for a few years that had little engagement and started a FB group too with the same results. I’m thinking by taking a prepper slant this time it kind of gives us a shared goal to work towards and that in itself makes talking easier. We could share tips on where to get safe foods in our local areas, maybe split bulk orders, do some pressure canning together to make ready to heat meals, or just share equipment or recipes, etc. What do you think? Would you want to get involved with a “let’s get prepared for emergencies but also create a mutually supportive community that has each other’s backs” kind of group? What social media platforms would you most likely respond to? I’m thinking Nextdoor dot com since it’s neighbor focused but are there others that you think would work better? Thanks in advance for your input and suggestions! 😊
