If you would be buying jacket from carhartt WIP catalog today, what color would you choose and why?

Me, I'm eyeing leaf color, so calm and seems to be fit with about anything.

Red Wing Iron Ranger 8088 + Vibram 2021. Another repair just 6 month later

I resoled my traction tred Iron Rangers with Vibram 2021, used them for 5-6 month daily, got them to the point where my hips started hurting when I was wearing them due to walking angle. Got them fixed up by the local cobbler, bottom part is neopren, hard rubber. with deep clean up costed me 89 canadian dollars and 1 day.

Shore coat

Got me new Carhartt Men's 106675 Rugged Flex® Duck Loose Fit Chore Coat C01-M in Carhartt Brown for 100 cad.

I’m 5'9, and honestly, this jacket feels a bit like I’m wearing a lab coat or a bathrobe. The sleeves are definitely made for someone hitting the 6' mark, but luckily there are two buttons so I can cinch them up and not look like a kid in his dad’s gear.

The pockets? Absolute beauties. You could fit a whole kilo of bacon and a 2L bottle of pop in there and still have room for your keys. I can walk around with my hands in them like a scientist searching for the perfect poutine recipe. Howerer I do not get those vertical pockets on newer jackets. I used to put my phone in my chect pocket and use it as flashlight, now can't do that.

The material isn’t super thick, which is nice for layering. It holds its shape for now, but we’ll see if it decides to shrink to a toddler size after the first wash.

Quality control was a bit 'loose' on mine, though. It looks like whoever hammered in the buttons missed the mark on the first try—there’s a stray hole right next to one of them. Also, the collar has a weird 'crunchy' sound to it? Not sure if there’s a secret snack hidden inside or if that’s just the fabric talking to me.

I'm thinking about giving it some color, maybe green. what do you think which color should I pick?

Hello,

Do any of the old-style Active Jacs have a flannel lining? I’m really liking the flannel on my denim J140 Active Jac (106976), as it feels much cozier than the nylon lining in my standard J130. However, I’m not a fan of the J140 design—it feels smaller, the sleeves are shorter, and the pockets are different. I’m looking for a J130-style jacket with a flannel lining that is durable enough for work, not just a 'fashion' piece.
