47-50 41st street washington towers rats?

Hi, I was looking to rent at this building but it seems like there are a bunch of 311 calls the past few months about rats (causing baits to be finally put down and the calls stopped). The building looked immaculate when I visited so I'm confused. Does anyone have any experience with this building? Is this normal for sunnyside?

Do you feel like you have to tell guys to relax more frequently the higher your belt gets?

Hey gals, purple belt here. I realized back during mid blue belt that if I wanted to get better, I had to speak up when guys were using too much strength or getting too uncontrolled, since it prevented me from working anything. I got my purple belt back in December and I feel like if anything that the past year I've have to tell guys to relax even more. I do nogi so it's not like my belt rank is apparent before the roll. But maybe guys either get shocked when they realize my skill level and go crazy from a bruised ego, or they think "she's a purple belt, I want to prove myself as a white/blue and tap her." I'm also 5'6 and muscular, which I think gives guys the impression they can rough house me (compared to my more petite female training partners).

Is this just how people act the higher your rank gets? I've also had guys act like that I'm unaware of how intense BJJ can get after telling them to dial it back despite knowing I'm a purple belt. Like dude I know lol. But still at the end of the day, a part of me feels guilty for these conflicts even though it's for my own safety and benefit

Upper belt guys (purple and up please) can also offer some input. Do you also get condescension from guys when this happens or is that mostly because I'm a woman?
