Wrinkles above and below lips

Wrinkles above and below lips

What can be done? I am only 51, looking 71 around my mouth. The rest of my face does not look bad.

Constant sweating??

For reference, I am about to turn 51 and have not had a period since June of 2025.

I was diagnosed with Graves disease and did have hyperthyroid which turned into hypothyroid and then my thyroid levels leveled out and I was taken off of any thyroid medicine. Recent thyroid Labs showed I was still in normal range.

I just started the lowest dose estrogen patch and 100 mg oral progesterone 2 days ago so of course it has not kicked in yet I don't believe?

I am in a constant state of being extremely hot, and sweating, my body feels like my inner temperature is 200°, 24 hours a day. I spend maybe 1 hour of the day where I am not burning up inside and completely drenched in sweat. My arms legs and everything else on my body is wet and my back and face is dripping sweat.

Is this normal for menopause? Does anyone else experience this?

Progesterone made in China?

I sat looking at my estrogen patches afraid to put them on for 2 weeks before finding the courage to finally put one on yesterday.

Then I went to take my progesterone pill last night and realized that the manufacturer is apparently from Thailand and the pills come from china? I mean it scared me bad enough that I took the patch off yesterday and then didn't take the pill. Anyone else using progesterone made in China from manufacturer that starts with 'AUB'?

Anyone on this HRT patch

Anyone on this HRT?

It's a patch called Estradiol-norethindrone.

Was just prescribed it and terrified to start using it as I read the insert. I am a smoker but my doctor seems to think that this would be the safest HRT for me.

For reference I am almost 51 years old and have not had a period in a year, I do have thyroid issues and Graves disease.

Hot and sweating constantly

I am 51 years old and not a candidate for HRT unfortunately. I have Graves disease and thyroid issues and have not had a period for a little over a year. I currently smoke cigarettes, which I am trying to decrease and ultimately quit.

I am in a constant state of my body being so hot I feel like its burning from the inside. Sweating all day and all night long. I get maybe 2 hours of the day where I am not literally burning up with sweat dripping down my back and neck, even my arms and legs are sweating. I am absolutely miserable and at my wits end.

I tried Estro-life and Progesto-life from SM nutrition but it is not doing anything for me. PCP wanted to try Paxil but I don't want to take an antidepressant of which causes weight gain and libido issues which I'm already suffering horribly with. I don't know what the alternatives are.

Anyone else having the constant sweating? I cannot tell you how many times I wake up in the night, tossing and turning, burning up and sweating and then chilly once I take the covers off, and I am doing that all night long.

Most women I talk to tell me their hot flashes come and go but not constant and not close to as intense as mine are. I feel like something more is wrong although my blood tests have come back normal. I just can't imagine going through this another minute let alone another couple years and need to hear from others who might be going through this as well. It's not even like a hot "flash" it's like a constant state of hot and sweating.

I have seen three doctors in regards to this and all three of them are saying that it is been a very extreme case of hot flashes. I think they don't know what to do with me either since HRT is not an option for me.

Headaches and Graves

Does anyone else suffer with headaches that just won't quite go away? I know ibuprofen is not good for Graves disease but it's the only thing that will give me relief for a little while and then it just comes right back. Just another thing I'm suffering with, with this fucked up disease.

I'm at a loss, my libido is gone and my marriage is suffering from it. I am a 50 year old and I do smoke.
