Remove foil stamp from calfskin
Hello!
I am making a bag for my fiancé and i stamped an important peace of calf skin with gold foil. Now she wants it removed. Is this possible without ruining the leather? (at least the gold foil but the denting isn’t as important but would of course be nice.)
I’ve done some research and saw some people talk about, tape, WD-40, olive oil, tape, lotion, etc. Any advice?

Possible to remove stamp from my leather bag?
Hello leather people, hopefully someone here can give me some advice.
I bought this bag for my fiancé a while back and she wanted it even though there is a stamp with someone else’s initials. Now some time later she wants to remove it, at least the gold foil but the denting isn’t as important but would of course be nice.
I’ve done some research and saw some people talk about, tape, WD-40, olive oil, tape, lotion, etc. Any advice? I don’t want to ruin the bag.
