Hi!

I am at my wits end so if anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it! I just got a text from M&T for a charge almost $400 I said no that’s not me. On my account a charge of $500 was taken out but then put back in??? This is the THIRD time this year someone has gotten my information somehow and has been making charges and I’ve changed my card info twice!! Also earlier this year my credit card also was charged by unknown around the same time so I don’t know if this is a bigger issue or not. I am just really stressed out and I don’t even have much money so whoever picked the wrong person to steal from 😭

I feel like I should also switch banks because why 3 times!!

Hello! I just graduated and got my LMSW. I am so happy to finish up school, but I know the learning is far from over! The thing is that I have ADHD and am in the middle of finding the right meds and skills that work for me (which has been a frustrating process). My supervisor so kindly gave me their PESI to watch some training sessions they have, but I feel overwhelmed and struggle to make time and sit through these 3-hour+ videos for the life of me. Even if I just carve out 30 minutes, I feel my brain cannot settle.

Those with ADHD or who struggle to focus, what do you do to make training manageable? I am interested in the content, but I still find it hard. I appreciate any advice!!

Hello! I recently graduated and passed my LMSW. I decided to stay at my internship for now because they offered me a position and it’s very flexible.

This is my first job in the field and there are things that don’t sound right to me but I’m also not sure being new and I’m seeing a lot of different opinions online. So i’m just seeking advice. This isn’t my forever place my next step is LCSW and if a better opportunity comes around then I’m going to take it.

So they said split is 50/50 which the owner said would be 40 a session.

I will initially be W2 but I have no PTO, no benefits, no health insurance

they said they will pay for any training

no min or max clients i need to see (i currently have 18 and want to work my way up to 26/4 days a week).

I also get weekly supervision (though it hasn’t been the best)

So it doesn’t feel ideal but I also have to start somewhere! I appreciate any feedback
