Made these flares from two pair of jeans that didn't fit me, so far my whole family and most of my friends said they look weird and gay. Do they really???

Tried making my own flare jeans today with a pair of levis 505s and a pair of beige levis 568s
I would love some opinions on these jeans so far everyone i have showed them to has disliked them. Do they really look that weird?
