Blue Jackets unveil 2026-27 theme nights and special ticket packages

Looks like we've had a few changes to the theme nights. I'm not sure what the theme of CBJ vs PHI is on Nov. 14, but it's listed. Looks like Greatful Dead Night has been replaced with a Jerry Garcia ticket package and giveaway of some sort.

Giveaways look to include an Ivan (and Drake!!) Provorov bobblehead, a Jet Greaves bobblehead, and a Snoopy and Woodstock bobblehead.

Which themes or giveaways sound interesting to you?

[Dreger] Sounds like Werenski, his agent Judd Moldaver, and CBJ GM Don Waddell spoke today in an effort to clear the air and calm things down. Werenski is comfortable going back to CBJ. Waddell could present him with a trade in the meantime, but that isn’t on the radar at this point.

Former NHL player Jack Johnson’s parents, Kristina and John Johnson, have officially been sentenced to federal prison for bankruptcy fraud tied to their Springfield Bed & Breakfast in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania.

Kristina Johnson, 69, received 15 months in federal prison, while John Johnson, 73, was sentenced to 18 months.

In 2014 when it was revealed his parents had allegedly borrowed more than $15 million against his future NHL earnings, ultimately leading Jack himself into bankruptcy. He reportedly cut ties with them and chose not to pursue criminal charges at the time.

Jackets Foundation Donates Bicycles to Avondale Elementary

Just felt like we could all use some happy, feel-good news. The Blue Jackets Foundation does a lot of good & fun things in the community. For the second year, they partnered with Franklinton Cycle Works to give bicycles and helmets to students at Avondale Elementary School to kickoff the Great Bike Adventure.

Last year, Erik Gudbranson helped fit the fifth-graders with helmets while the students learned bicycle safety including hand signals. The link above is for this year, and here is Jackets Insider Jeff Svoboda's write-up about the event last year.
