We all know Mr Bald is a straight up FREAK. We’ve seen him get with multiple women from different nationalities, but he’s never dipped in the chocolate. Why is that 🤔

How would you handle being rejected after completing an interview for a medical device company (sales)? I’m torn between two different schools of thought as I’m trying to break in after graduating college.

My college professor who was the dean of our business school told us how he got his positions
after being initially rejected, due to DEI. He accepted the rejection with grace and on a monthly basis emailed my school with updates on how he was doing in his current job. Allegedly, they appreciated his ability to not give up on the job by keeping in contact, as well as improving.

On the other hand, my dad advises the opposite. For context he was in medical device sales for 20 years, and a top performer. He tells me not to bother and to just apply when the jobs come up since there’s no point keeping in contact for a job that’s not open (his logic not mine). He had to leave his last job not on the best terms (long story) and has been actively looking for year with no success.

I kinda see both sides, and I’d feel better keeping in contact every month (I lean 60/40 in favor of my prof). What would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
