For reference, I was from the suburbs of St. Louis growing up and I currently have 2 offers.
If I stay in St. Louis with Mastercard, I heard I am almost guaranteed a return offer and I wont need to pay rent in the near future. The salary is significantly lower but still very good according to levels.fyi
If I accepted an offer at Capital One I also heard I am almost guaranteed to get a return offer however, I would need to relocate, pay rent, and move from family. The entry-level salary is definitely enticing according to levels.fyi
Based on this information, do you think I should stay in St. Louis?

How easy is it to get back into Mastercard by applying through their new grad opening if I end up doing C1 instead?
How long does it take to get promoted to Senior SWE at Mastercard on average?

Ok. So I needed to ask. I am disabled currently in the fight of my life, trying to get my SSA back. I had it for 13 years, I voluntarily gave it up to go to rehab. I have been clean now 9 years. And have been fighting for my SSA back for the last 4 years.
I made it to an Admin. Law Judge, who quickly denied me three times and closed my case. I have been broke for 9 years having to live off of an aid program and my boyfriend.
Well September 2 came and I got a knock at the door. Some guy was here to turn my gas off. So I went digging because I thought that LIHEAP took care of my bill just like the year before and I was cool all year. Well LIHEAP went back on their word because of 1 piece of paper. Spire let my gas bill go ALL year, and as I had called and updated my address and phone number with them, I figured they did so for my paperless stuff, so everything, bills/ notices/ anything would come to me. NOPE. They did not change it at all and sent bills and notices to a phone number that didn't work and emails to one that had been closed. So my gas bill built up all year, well I get minimal bill help (with who gets my rent) and I had my person pay $300 in about 1.5 months times on the bill. So my bill was $1000 + for the year.
Well I called Spire, they were absolutely no help. LIHEAP doesn't get their money till the middle of November, Salvation Army is out of funding, St Patrick's is out of funds. Basically everyone I go to for funding is dependant on the government being kinda generous. Well we had a Trump in office again and like 4/5 of my organizations I go to didn't even GET funding this year. Also Heat Up/ Cool Down wants to use LIHEAP money on me, so I'd have to wait till the end of November with them. They don't see me as disabled plus I'm not elderly.
I got a text last week, saying Spire was closing my account, and in 10 days its going to collections. They want $810 basically to turn my gas back on, and I have to get up at like 3/4AM in the morning now to check on my dogs because it's so cold at night now. One sleeps with me right up next to me. One with the other half. One sleeps in a huge pile of clothes. And the others lay shivering so I have to cover them up or get our one small electric heater out, trying to warm the house up.
At this point, I feel so hopeless...
Thank God for our current administration though who cares more about personally making money then helping their citizens with the help and truth we need.

I noticed a huge amount of black smoke coming from what looked like the rear of the GM plant. It didn’t appear to be coming from the smoke stacks either. I also met a lot of emergency vehicles on Highway A (10-12) and wondered if they were related.
