Does an internship in manual QA testing lock me into a career in QA in the future?

I am afraid that the best internship I got this summer was a manual QA internship. I tried really hard but just could not get any technical role. I dont see myself working in QA in the future, I want to get a SWE or Data Engineer internship + job.

I just wanted to ask, does taking this QA role actually affect my future opportunities in SWE or Data Engineering, and should I still take this role (it is my only "CS related" role). I am mostly afraid that in the future I will continue to be put into QA roles (whether that be during team matching, the internships that accept me, etc.) since the very first "actual" experience that I had was in QA. I do have an unpaid internship in PM and an unpaid undergraduate research experience where I programmed a computer vision tool, but I just dont know if those are considered "official" work since those didn't even help me get a SWE role after 700 applications.

How to fix inconsistent layers?

How do i fix these inconsistent layers and stringing, especially when the nature of my print requires lots of retraction?

I see signs of both overextrusion (from the top texture) and underextrusion (from the columns). I have tried tightening the Z-axis for better consistency, and I am also using .2 mm layer height, so microstepping is not an issue either. I dont hear the extruder skipping steps either.

- Ender 3 Pro with sprite hotend and extruder

- 200C Nozzle, 0C bed

- Polymaker PLA

- Cura Slicer

- Speed and Retraction is listed in screenshots

Would you increase the battery life of a gaming laptop significantly by using Linux instead of Windows, especially if the work you are doing is schoolwork instead of intensive tasks?

I am considering getting a gaming laptop for school so I dont need to buy both a desktop and a laptop, but I am concerned about battery life. Would using Linux actually help me get a decent battery life on a gaming laptop for when I actually need the battery to last me the day in college?

Furthermore, does anyone have experience on how much more battery life you can get out of using Linux over Windows on a Lenovo legion?

Im trying to get a gaming laptop (less than 1 year old) on marketplace for a killer deal, but I want to make sure everything is working.

Is there any diagnostic software or built-in Windows tests that I can run to make sure that everything is in working condition?

Also, is there anything I should check while I meet up to ensure that the laptop is good to go and in good shape?
