I just picked up my new Model Y yesterday, and I’m absolutely loving it so far. Such a beautiful car!
Unfortunately, I’ve already had two minor incidents. 😅

The first is a small dent on the trunk door that I noticed. I’m honestly not sure how it happened. It doesn’t look like a deep impact, so I’m wondering if anyone has ideas on what could have caused it. Has anyone had something similar happen? Any suggestions on the best way to fix it? Would paintless dent repair (PDR) be the way to go?

Then, to make matters worse, this morning I was opening the trunk in my parking garage and accidentally hit an overhead pipe. That left another small dent/mark on the edge of the trunk. Lesson learned!

I’d appreciate any thoughts on what might have caused the rear door dent and the best repair options for both spots. Thanks!

Overall, despite the rough first 24 hours, I’m really enjoying the car. It’s an amazing drive, and I’m excited to be part of the Tesla community.
