Get ViWood again... still not quite there?

I bought one of the first models years back but returned it because it just didn't have what I wanted... moved to ReMarkables and I like their devices, but I'm using a lot of work-arounds to get my calendars there, some newspapers and some journaling. Looking at all the improvements Viwoods has done over the years, I just got another one (the standard, not the mini)... but after the initial hour setting it up, I'm still somewhat perplexed by these things:

- The daily overview doesn't show things in order, but lists recurring events ahead of everything else... that's just daft... my schedule jumps from 8AM to a 5PM to a 9AM to a 12PM entry... is this normal? It shows up fine on the day schedule, but any other view, it will be garbled in terms of times.

- What's with the strange naming of things... "Learning" is where the PDFs are kept? I downloaded a pdf from OneDrive and it creates a duplicate of it as soon as I used the pen? Can I just create a folder structure myself and organize the content the way I see fit? It seems that ViWoods has a strict idea on where to store what and I can't really change that.

Are folks getting used to this or am I just too deep (if that's even possible, 'cause it ain't that deep) into Remarkable where I can have folders and any file can be in any folder and that's all there's to it?

I currently have a couple apps aggregating my calendar appointments for the day at 6AM and sending it directly to my ReMarkable - so when I get up, I can just open that PDF and think about the appointments / meetings, make my notes and write down what needs to happen. I also just write down the to-do's that need doing that day. And as the morning turns to afternoon, I just reference that document and add notes or mark things off.
My thought was that with the calendar integration, To-Do capabilities and OneDrive integration, the same flow would be even better with this device - but it seems clunky...

I like the display, I like the promise of integrating a calendar, I like the ability to use this as a Kindle reader... but it seems using the device for just marking up PDFs that help me think about the day and making notes about the appointments in the morning over an early cup of coffee and just having a clear folder-structure is not what the inventors intended.

What am I missing here... how are others using it? I'd rather not send it back (again) as there's so much promise...

Went to testdrive the R1S dual yesterday and walked away with mixed feelings. For background - we have a VW Atlas V6, a new Tesla Model 3 and test drove a number of cars in the recent past (Lucid Gravity, MB GE450e, BMW Plug in, Polestar 3 etc.).
The positive on the R1S is the quality ("put together well"), the general layout and the features. The headlights I could argue, but overall, I really like the vehicle and when inside, it feels great. The materials are nice, there is no or very little flex and it feels like an 'alternative luxury' vehicle.

But pulling out the lot, a few things struck me immediately:
- It drives like a truck - that's not a bad thing or a good thing and I should have anticipated that... ok
- the air suspension is not making the ride as 'subtle' as I thought it should (when compared to the Gravity for example) - yes it keeps the (heavy) vehicle stable, but I wouldn't necessarily call it 'smooth'
- The engine and general driving noise definitely makes its way into the interior... not sure what I was expecting, but there is significantly more road noise coming from the engines and the wheel wells in city traffic than I was expecting. Yes, I shouldn't compare it to the Tesla 3, but even compared to the petrol driven Atlas, it seemed either similar and at times louder

- The acceleration was decent (given it was only the 2 motor engine) and the visibility / "driveablity" of the car was very nice - it has an amazingly small turning radius as well

The tri-motor we then looked at has a nicer interior, but we were told that outside of the obvious performance / range there wouldn't be any other changes that would alter the interior noise and that those are purely the result of it being a very heavy vehicle.

Is that indeed the case? There is no added sound insulation or other change in the Tri motor and it would sound indeed like the dual motor version?

I wasn't expecting BMW i7 or Volvo EX90 silence, but thought the noise in city traffic (and on the highway, but then you have additional wind disturbances) was - maybe not excessive, but disturbing and not in line with the general ambiance of the car.

So - to current owners - do you notice it, did you get used to it? are there rumors that this will be addressed at some point in time? Do they even use sound insulating glass (or anything around the engines / wheel wells)?

I'm looking for an e-ink tablet that can easily 'sync' documents... I currently have the reMarkable Pro and it does what I need, but the contrast and the resolution just aren't as good as some others (that are purely Black&White). I'm ok with losing color, but when trying out other (Amazon / Chinese) brands, I noticed that they have all sorts of bells and whistles for note-taking and recording and calendar sync... but I can't just 'print' to it like I can on my remarkable. And that's a must-have functionality (or at least a simple app where I can (wirelessly!) sync PDFs to it and organize them (from my Mac / PC)... I don't want to email them to a strange email address or go through a USB cable or whatnot...

I've tried a few but returned them all - but that was about a year ago... did things change meaningfully?

So... what are the options for an e-ink with a high resolution display that is the size of the remarkable (ie at LEAST 10 inches) that allows an easy sync with pdfs?
