This is a three-star system in both senses of the word (Affluent economy, Lawless conflict), but when you're able to find a Sentinel-free Paradise Planet after only ten minutes of system hopping in a harsh galaxy like Coellosipp, you jump at it.

BONUS: if you hang around the station long enough you might run into this blue Exotic (the two last pics in the slideshow). I heard him land while I was digging through my storage container inventory looking for ONE MORE THING I could donate to the Mercenaries' Guild to get my local standing up to 15. I need to pick a few more fights with Sentinels to stock up on that stuff...

Honestly, I was really hoping that we'd be allowed to claim and colonize abandoned or outlaw stations. Maybe in another update?

Anyway, it's in a three-star system in Euclid (glyphs on the screenshot) with a nice paradise planet that I haven't really explored yet, but it looks like a nice place to build a base. It's not too far from the center of Euclid (about 28k LY).

Sadly, my user name is too long, so the station is named "Grey Council: Zuheko Sphere (marcusregis)".

Hi - I've been playing NMS for about a year or so. I stumbled upon this sub this morning and immediately clicked "Join". My AARP account has been around longer than my Hello Games account, and I remember playing Asteroids at the bowling alley during my parents' league nights thinking I was cool like Han Solo in The Empire Strikes Back. I'd love to travel back in time with my Steam Deck and show 10 year old me No Man's Sky just to see his little head explode when he fights his first pirate dreadnought!

Pics two and three are of an exotic I spotted while I was in the landing bay of my freighter, was able to catch up with it at the system's space station. It landed in the late first wave after about four minutes of waiting on top of the Multi-Tool kiosk. I'm not as enthused about Exotics as I used to be, but lots of people are. It's in Isdoraijung (Galaxy #10) - glyphs are on the screenshot. (They're Steam Deck screenshots, so sorry for the lower quality).

I wasn't even looking for this - this was my starting system in Loydporpen. I was in the space station scrapping the C-class fighter I'd bought in Rinblodesa for the jump, and this thing landed right when I was starting to edit my corvette. The third pic - I shut the game down for a couple of hours, and when I restarted, the same ship landed within a minute. Maybe you'll have the same kind of luck.

I should have gotten a screenshot of the tech slots, but none of them are connected once they're all revealed. But it is red, and red exotics look really cool.

I started the Starbirth mission around this time last year, and I wasn't able to finish it for both physical (hardware) and mental (not so hard ware) reasons... not to mention the amount of griefers building kill bases near the portal of that last planet. But a couple of days ago I said "screw it" and decided to pick up where I left off. This afternoon, I claimed this guy.

I'm pretty stoked that it has two connected SC slots, but I will be changing the name unless someone can tell me wtf a Moskopey is. Google AI says I might be referring to "Muscovey", a name for Moscow from the 14th century. Looks more like something you'd find at Chernobyl.

I'm glad I finished the quest, but honestly I like my Wraith better.

I finally caught the Hyper-Cockle! Which means I don't really have much of a reason to go back to a gas giant planet, really. Unless I need Activated Quartzite...

Now I get to catch all of the waterworld fish. It's not going well; I keep catching the common stuff that appear in most worlds. It's all right. I'm patient, and I got a new cart yesterday, so I'm prepared.

I spent like three hours last night in this amazing underwater cave I found on this gas giant I've been goofing around on for the past few days. I got so high that I couldn't really find my way out, so I built a marine shelter and a save point and went to bed. I snapped these screenshots this afternoon, still sober from work. Not anymore, heh. But yeah, it's beautiful down here.

After getting tornadoed a couple of times, I built this. The water's only 10u deep max, but my first catch in this pond was a Maw of Titan, so that's pretty cool.

Followed these guys around in my nautilon for at least 20 minutes. Mesmerizing.

Quick question for the group: Does buried swarm debris yield anything but "ichor"?

I've decided to sit this expedition out, but I stumbled upon a dissonant planet with swarm debris last night while playing "Faux-Ke-Mon" with my creature companions. I had to do a bit of research... as far as I can tell interacting with this after I dig it up will award me "well over 100 ichor", which can be refined into nanites 5 to 1 as soon as I fight a bunch of weird Sentinels With Tails And Flamethrowers... but if I visit my nanite farm and pop a Stellarator, I end up with about 75K Runaway Mould with the same amount of effort. Doesn't really seem worth it from that perspective.

Finally found the last part I needed to fabricate a replica. Started to get a little nostalgic and even a little jealous seeing all of the Radiant Pillars parked in the anomaly these days... it's kind of fair-to-middlin' stat-wise, but your first car is always supposed to be a POS, right? I love it, though. Now if only I can find a 1968 VW bus that I can fabricate out of three components and an S-class reactor...

Well, this guy is kinda cute in a way, despite having four front elephant feet and the hind legs of a fawn. NMS fauna would make Darwin's head explode. I fed him all of my retroviral pellets, looking forward to leveling him up.

Also, this planet has blue volcanoes!

In the year I was born there were a total of 95 kids named "Aric" born worldwide. I was one of those kids who was always bummed when gift shops never had his name on bike license plates or anything. Other than custom embroidery, which was always too expensive, my options didn't exist. So I'm sure you can imagine the look on my face when I stumbled upon this planet in Euclid a couple of months ago. Finding a huge patch of curious deposits made it worth colonizing.

Bonus - one of the native fauna is S-class (S-B-S), and has become one of my go-to Desert creatures in Xeno Arena battles. He's kind of an ass-kicker.
