I’m relatively new to wildlife photography and birds in particular. I’m certainly learning a lot about optimal lighting, but I’m wondering if there are different steps I should be taking in post to achieve a better edit.
These are shot on Canon 5D Mark iii with Sigma 150-600mm f5-6.3
I bought a printer today to print my own digital negs for solarfast dyes. I really wanted to do them at home and not via staples. I did print these on the same paper they use though, with my printer set to print as an image on photo paper
Is there any getting around this density issue? I tried printing twice but the images didn’t line up
Can I fix this by editing the image further?
Thinking of getting this printer to make negatives for cyanotype, and/or solar fast prints. Seller said he would give it to me for 100 and that it’s hardly used. I know it’s not dedicated photo printer, but is it a good deal? I think it prints up to 11 x 17, and can do 12x12.
Model is TS9521C
If this is you, you left your instant photo at The Grove!
I just opened an SF MRA letter and saw that I have an account and that I needed to claim the funds. I saw I missed the deadline.
Is there any hope of recovering the funds? Or is it officially gone?
Just curious if anyone has any tips before I start shooting my coveted packs. I’ve noticed that the film is really dense, with really bright highlights. So I’m curious to know if everyone is just auto exposing it, or what your approach is! Please feel free to share examples in the comments
Edited to add: Also would love to see what it looks like with flash
Hoping to shoot a couple packs of this on a trip to hawaii this summer!
