earlier today my friend came over to hang out w me and my baby. i have rules everyone has to follow but the biggest one is no kissing baby. she knows, respects, and has talked to me about agreeing w the decision not to do that. well, i was cleaning up the dinner we had when i turned around and she said "im giving her water from the glass"... HER glass. i froze in the moment and i just said ok. at that point she was already doing it and im terrible at confrontation especially w someone who has genuinely never broken any of my boundaries in the six years ive known them! this obviously wasnt malicious and she is one of my greatest friends but makes me very scared for my baby as far as herpes and cold sores go. can anyone find studies or links to ease my nerves? should i take her to the doctor in the morning? my friend didnt have any visible sores but that doesnt mean they arent inside her mouth. its very early in the morning now so i do plan on asking her some very open questions abt whether or not she does get coldsores in a bit but im freaking out:/ i do not get cold sores and would be so sad if this one instance where i was so careless costed my baby:/

ive hated pumping since about three months in (baby is now 7 months) and its only gotten worse. i just had to rip off my spectras and run to the br to throw up bc pumping is so disgusting to me. DMER is just the tip of the ice berg. this feels like something so much worse than what ive read abt DMER. the feeling doesnt go away after a couple minutes and nothing can distract me from how disgusting it feels to pump. sometimes i genuinely feel like destroying my pump. i do a lot of meditation and do everything the fuck ass internet tells u to do when dealing w DMER and nothing helps. fuck pumping and i cant wait to be done. im sorry if this is discouraging to anyone im just sick of this shit

i have a collection from a card that i opened when i was 19. it is the only line of credit on my credit report. i finally decided to deal with it. called discover on 7/31/26 , they told me who it was sold to and that was that. i was watching some videos and found out u could dispute it if anything was wrong w the account information and i knew they had the wrong address so thats what i did the same day i called discover. i went to check today and my total debt went from the amount on the card ($1838) to $0. did the dispute work? whats going on? the amount isn't listed on any other account as far as a collection agency on my credit report; like i said this is the ONLY thing on my credit report. feeling stupid and could use some help

Ok my last post got deleted im not 100% sure why so i will not use screenshots this time and try to be a bit more clear. When i was 19 i opened a discover card. i was very off and on w payments and had some financial hardship around oct 2024 and wasnt able to pay it at all after that. within two months they closed my account (dec 9 2024). i have derogatory remarks up until last month when i finally started to try and deal with all of this. This is the ONLY thing on my credit; no car loans, no other collections, no other credit cards, nothing. just this one single card is the only thing on my credit report and i have never been able to take out a loan or open a new card since. i recently had a baby and want to be able to cosign for her and afford to take out loans if she ever needs anything in the future so thats when i finally decided to call discover and handle this. was passed around a few times and they told me who they sold my debt to easy peasy that was it. well i saw a couple videos saying if anything was wrong to dispute it. so i disputed on my credit karma app on 7/31/26 and on the transunion website 8/4/26. i was notified on the credit karma the dispute was resolved and after years of my balance being $1838 on the debt chart, it dropped down to $0 three days ago. what changed? what happened? is it just gone? i am very ignorant on this topic and looking for any advice. thanks
(i know its not just gone and theres obviously some debt collector wanting the balance but i'm just confused how it went from $1838 to $0)
