Maybe a weird question to ask on this subreddit. But in Sweden the BYD Dolphin is not for sale, expected maybe in a few months. Not sure which models/and trims, but assuming/hoping 60kWh in both trims.

Im quite tempted to get the MG4 Urban now. But wondering if anyone here has tried both and had some thoughts. I tried the Atto 2 and really liked it, the only issue was that it felt a bit too much like an SUV, where the mg4 urban felt more more like the type I’d like.

For those that tried both, any thoughts? Do you think the Dolphin would feel like an improvement worth waiting for?

I'm really close to buying the MG4 Urban (Premium trim), but after test-driving it, I found the seatbelt connector quite uncomfortable. The buckle couldn't be moved and was just poking out from the seat, and the latch was an unusually big lump of plastic. The combination was just really unpleasant for me.

The seller said they would contact MG to see if they could install the same seatbelt type used in other MG models, but seemed hesitant that it would lead to anything.

Does anyone else recognize this issue with the MG4 Urban, and any suggestions or workarounds?

Feels weird to say no to this otherwise great car, but it hurts to drive...
